Eileen had been a foster mother for eight-months-old Ozzey for 3 months. Then he went to another home for a while and now he is back with Eileen. Both are happy. (Photos Eileen Pilgrim)
“The Six Golden Questions”:
– What does your pet like?
Ozzey loves going for long walks and he loves playing frizbee outside. He likes to play with other dogs and cats. And he likes to sleep in the bed.
– What does your pet not like?
He does not like taking showers. He also does not like dog food and being outside when it is snowing.
– Favourite toy?
Plastic buckets and containers, boots and any toy that squeaks.
– Favourite food?
BBQ steaks and cheese whiz toast.
– What have you learned since you have had your pet?
I have been a pet owner for over 18 years. Chucky was my first pet that I had for 16 years. We lost him due to sickness. Now Ozzey has come into my life. Strange how things happen. I took Ozzey to foster him, then I found him a home for three months. Sadly it did not work out and he came back to us for the second time. He had a rough start in life but now he has a loving forever home.
– Do you have any advice for other pet owners?
Pets are like children, they depend on you for everything, when they are puppies and even when they are fully grown. You don`t abuse your children. All they want is to be loved and Ozzey has lots of love.
