His tomcat Mel, a tabby, is today not quite one year old. Austin has had Mel since October 16, 2011.

– What does your pet like?
Playing with shadows.
– What does your pet not like?
He does not like being disturbed while he is eating.
– Favourite toy?
A plastic mouse with fur on it.
– Favourite food?
Salmon.
– What have you learned since you have had your pet?
Cats are real fun. Mel loves us a lot and I take good care of him by cleaning his litter box and feeding it.
– Do you have any advice for other pet owners?
Take care of your pet a lot.
