Stephanie Hancock Hedderson, originally from St. Anthony, now Corner Brook
This is Stephanie and her dog Reese on a hiking trail called
Bakers Brook Falls, near Berry Hill campground in Gros Morne.
“An easy 1-2 hour hike (4 km return) with exceptional views of a gorgeous waterfall at the end of a hike.”
“This is Reese (Chocolate Labrador ) and Wrigley ( Hungarian Visla) hiking up in the Tablelands in Gros Morne at sunset.
“The next photo was taken on the way from S. Anthony to Corner Brook . It was a quick little stop at Western Brook Beach .
About a 10 minute walk down a trail leads to a beautiful sandy beach. It’s the perfect place to stop if your travelling with a dog, and it gives both dog and owner a chance to stretch their legs.”
Stephanie writes: ” My family and I feel it is very important to include our dog in all life’s activities . Dogs thrive for exercise and exploring , it’s a natural part of the canine life. Our dog Reese actually get us out and on the move moreso then if we never had a dog . A well exercised, tired dog is a well behaved quiet dog while in the house . I’m a firm believer that dogs who are destructive inside the house can be broken from this by being exercised. When dogs are bored they tend to act out . Exercise yourself and your dog , you both will love each other for it.”

“The photo obove is of a little hike in Lomond to Stanleyville, which is approx 4 km return. Stanleyville is an old logging community that was resettled.”
