“The Six Golden Questions”:
– What does your pet like?
Being the centre of attention. When he’s surrounded by friends he works the room!
– What does your pet not like?
Rain and water in general . He will not go into water of any type no matter how hot it is outside.
– Favourite toy?
Stuffed bunny with a squeaker. He regularly hunts it and kills it but does not want me to hold it.
– Favourite food?
Duck and sweet potato treats.
– What have you learned since you have had your pet?
He’s the smallest dog (12 lbs) I’ve ever owned and the only poodle. I read “Poodles for Dummies” and thought no way that some of these more neurotic traits are true. But they are. He wants a regular schedule that he establishes when he can and expects everyone else to stick to it. A couple of times going grocery shopping or walking is enough for him to add those events in his weekly schedule and remind you of them over and over until you comply! Did you see the little video on my FB page? That’s at 6:30 and time for our walk.
– Do you have any advice for other pet owners?
Be sure you are willing to put the time in that your pet needs and that you can afford to provide good care. Wulfric takes the majority of my spare time and a good deal of my spare money. He needs grooming every three months at least which is $50.00. Plus vet care on occasion (300.00 for a ear infection) and his favorite treats are $15/bag.
