“The Six Golden Questions”:
– What does your pet like?
He loves to be outside and in the water, if you bring him outside and play with him he will be the happiest dog in the world! He also loves his family in Straitsview, who he goes with when “mom” is working!
– What does your pet not like?
Charlie hates rainy days, hair-dryers, vacuums and even though he loves the water, he cannot stand getting into a bath tub!
– Favourite toy?
Charlie loves to play with rocks! His favourite thing to do is have someone throw a rock into the water and he dive for them.
– Favourite food?
Charlie loves cheese, treats, and meats. He also loves going for a drive to get an ice cream!
– What have you learned since you have had your pet?
That they understand more about what’s going on around them than you may think. His “dad” works away, so when he sees him take out his duffel bag, he knows dad is going away and will sulk. It’s also pretty neat that they have a sense for the time of day, for example, Charlie always seems to know when I will be coming home!
– Do you have any advice for other pet owners?
No matter how busy life might get, try your best to play with your pets and take them for walks. As well, if your puppy is anything like Charlie was, make sure anything that you have that’s expensive or has meaning is put in a very safe spot during the chewing phase!
