Bonnie writes about this picture:
“This momma cat had her babies under a patio here in Gander.
Yesterday morning I went to the home and set the trap with no luck. I was really worried that if she was not caught her kittens would surely die with the impending weather.
After lunch I went down once again, but this time I removed her kittens from their rocky nest and put them in a carrier. I then set the trap so that the only way for Mom to get to her kittens would be to go through the trap. It worked!
Within a half hour of setting the trap I had mom and babies.I originally thought she may have been a feral cat but today she is allowing me to touch her and her babies and seems to enjoy being scratched behind her ears.”
