Joan writes: “This is my grandson Isaiah with two Newfoundland dogs, Sabastian and Nieves, at the Dark Tickle Shop during the Iceberg Festival in 2012.
When we got to the car Isaiah asked, “Nanny, how come those two dogs thinks I’m their kid?” Surprised at his question I asked, ” Why would you think that the dogs think you are their kid?” Isaiah certainly made me laugh when he said, “because they kept trying to wash me!”
Isaiah was five at the time of the photo, he just celebrated his sixth birthday about a week ago. He lives in Corner Brook and was here visiting at the time.”
